Stag Christmas Card Design
I decided to make a selection of Christmas Cards this year. The first one, I decided to make was a stag. Last year I received a Christmas card which was white with a silver stag on it - that was it. It was nice and simple.
Here are my instructions of how I made the card;

| Embossing Powder - Silver, Red, Gold; Hobbycraft/Colemans |
1. First I tried out the embossing on scrap paper to see if it would work and to make sure that I was doing everything in the right way. After a few testers, I felt confident to do them on the cards.
I tried it Silver, Gold and Red, however I felt the red didn't stand out on black, so I used the red on the white.
3. We added 'Merry Christmas' under the stag head to finish off the card.

4. On the back of the card, I stamped out in silver/black 'Made With Love By' and then wrote out my name, to show everyone that they are handmade and not shop brought.
5. I made inserts and printed them out to fit inside the card. I glued the edge of the paper to stick down the fold of the card.
6. I addressed the cards and added my name.
7. I placed the card inside the envelope and used a silver sticker to seal each envelope.
Did you make your Christmas cards yourself or did you buy them? I'd love to see your ideas, because I'd like to try out some different ideas.
