Wreath Christmas Card

Wreath Christmas Card

I wanted to create my own Christmas Cards, I went on Pinterest to look for ideas. I loved these ideas and decided I wanted to recreate my own somehow.

1. I was given a snowflake punch by someone I know who also creates cards. I had some Christmas paper designs and punched out many snowflakes.

Here is my sample that I created to see if it would work correctly.

1. I started with red A5 card, drew a circle using a glass to make a perfect circle wreath, in a light pencil.

2. I had 3D foam pads, which I stuck to each snowflake.

3. The 3D pads are double sided, so I unstuck the other side to put the snowflakes around the circle template.

4. I brought some gems from Hobby craft to put one in the middle of each snowflake to give it a bit of sparkle.

5. I added 'Merry Christmas' at the bottom of each wreath.

6. I created an insert on Microsoft Word, which I made to fit in each card. I printed them out, cut them down and used glue on the fold of each card. I addressed each card and added my name to the bottom.

7. I used a stamp 'Made With Love By' in black ink and added my name. This shows the person I addressed the card, that I made them myself.

8. I placed the card inside the envelope and used a silver sticker to seal the card.

Have you made your Christmas Cards? or Did you buy them? Any good designs, that you love? I'd love to try new ideas. Comment any designs that you'd like me to try.
