Mother's Day
"Everything I am, you helped me to be"
Mother's Day in England this year is celebrated on 15th March 2015. Mother's Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of lent, so does fall on different days every year.
This year, I was spending the day with my family. My mum, dad, sister and my boyfriend went to Oxford to see the rest of my family, in total there was 20 of us. It was nice to see everyone. We went for a pub lunch before heading back to my Nan's for tea. It was a great day, even if the weather was rubbish!
My Mum;
My mum is my rock. She is always there for me no matter what. She would do anything within reason to help me, to be there for me, to support me, to be my mum. I don't think I appreciate how much she still does for me, considering I am 21 this year. She secretly still treats me like a little girl. If I am ill, she is there to hold my hair up, to support and comfort me. If I have achieved something, she is there for me and celebrates with me. If I am upset, she will comfort me and give me advice.
I couldn't imagine my life, without my mum in it.
I love you Mum! <3
For anyone out there who doesn't have their mum any more. I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could say but nothing I say will make a difference. Mother's Day is always hard but your mum would be very proud of you for everything you have ever done.
I can't wait until I have children to experience the feeling of being a mum, being the most important person in your baby's life.
What presents did you get your mum's this year for Mother's Day? I would love to hear your tips and tricks.
