Hello January

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2015 is finally here! 'New Year, New Me' is heard every year, people NEVER change. Resolutions are always made on the 1st January and usually last a couple of weeks to a month, however I am determined this year to stick to mine. I want to make changes to my lifestyle, and fulfil every moment that I have and not waste any time.

2014 was a difficult year but it turned out great in the end, it comes to those who wait and I did. I've now been with my boyfriend a year, we had a few ups and downs but managed to work through it and we are still going strong. We were given some horrible news in my family,but we have stayed positive and so far so good, I try not to be negative and think about what might happen but we just have to take it day by day. I started 2014 with no job however I managed to find a brilliant job and I love it. I am a nanny - I look after 2 children (3 years and 11 months) 4 days a week. It makes a different if you get on with the family and it does work very well.

My plans for 2015;
1. To be more organised and I do say that every year but every year I am more and more organised. I want to plan out my time, to have things ready when needed and not have to rush because I don't have a present, card or not enough to go out with my friends or boyfriend because I have 'work' things to do..

2. I want to enjoy every moment of this year. Plan adventures with family and friends. Do exciting things that I've never done before. Take risks and live in the moment e.g. lessons in ice skating, go to London, see a West End Show, explore the country I live in. Take endless photos to keep hold of the memories I've made.

3. 'Lose weight' is a New Years Resolution everyone makes but no one ever sticks to after January ends. Yes I'd love to lose weight but I need to find a way to enjoy food that isn't 'junk'. I don't enjoy eating fruit and vegetables - I am a very fussy eater. I usually live off pasta and cheese (no sauce), chocolate/sweets. Yes I know this isn't a healthy lifestyle and I do want to change. I just need to work a way through it so that I can still eat some of the things I enjoy but at the same time, trying to gain a healthy lifestyle. I have joined a gym 'Virgin'. I am hoping to exercise more- taking out my dogs for a walk in the evenings, going swimming, attending a class, attempting a run or cycle. Just something to feel 'healthier' so I don't feel out of breath, slowly my body will improve. Well that;s my plan!

I think that's all my resolutions. I would love to look back at the end of 2015 and be proud of myself for sticking to my resolutions and tick them off and to aim higher for 2016. Let's hope and achieve together!

Let me know your resolutions for this year. I would love to hear them.
