Last weekend, Christmas arrived in my house!
On Sunday 4th December, My dad and I got up early to get our Christmas Tree from Stoke Goldington. It's such a magical experience. When we arrived, there is a quite a long drive way which you follow tree signs to keep going to where the trees are. We had the radio on at the time and as we were driving it was 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' - Mariah Carey.
It was just the perfect song to play leading to the farm. We were very quick getting the tree, we knew which type we wanted and how tall so it was just finding the perfect one, which we found straight away. We were there for about 10 minutes. It was full all over, the right height, all the branches were perfect.
A helper carried it to the base where they net it and measure it to pay. At the base there was free cups of Mulled Wine but unfortunately neither of us like it. They also sell wreaths, tree stands and wooden reindeers - very cute!
Once home, we decorated it and listened to Christmas music, a very festive day!
