Autumn

Autumn..

Early evenings, wet days...Autumn has arrived and I have a cold and a sore throat - what a surprise!
So I had a relaxing weekend to try and get myself okay or feeling slightly better. I did face masks, I made cookies, watched films - took time for myself. It was lovely.

Goals for October;

  • Books; I am currently 6 books behind schedule of reading 60 books by the end of 2016. I need to do some catching up and read some books which I actually enjoy and can whizz my way through. (I think I have joined too many book clubs - oops!).
  • Films; I love films. I love Disney, Pixar, Romance - anything. I will try any film. I'd love to spend my evenings watching more films. I miss just sitting around watching a film on a Sunday evening (without falling asleep!).
  • Christmas; Christmas is around the corner so I am trying to be as organised as possible and make/buy the most perfect gift for everyone. I like everything to be organised, presented beautifully. I will definitely be spending more time on presentation this year (gift wrapping) as well as creating my cards (Blog post coming soon).
  • My Room; I would love my room to be simplistic - nothing hardly on display, all hidden away in lovely storage boxes with labels and easy to find - that is difficult (I have too much stuff). I am slowly decluttering and updating my life, wardrobe, make - up, accessories. Everything. I want everything in my room to be something that I use and love. This is something I am finding difficult but I will get there slowly. Do I really need a spare shampoo sitting around? - just in case!
  • Diet; I took time to lose weight before my holiday and it worked. I lost at least 1/2 a stone, now I think I've put it back on. I need to get running, eat less junk food and generally look after myself and my body. You only get one body, it's important to make it count. I'd love to look at myself in the mirror and feel amazing (not sure if that will ever happen).

Any goals for the rest of the year? Can you recommend any great films that I should try or books? I'd love to know.
